There are so many different styles of poetry. Most of my poems tell a story in rhyme which deal with social injustices, controversial topics and the challenges that everyday life brings us. Most have powerful endings that will make the reader reflect and think and even question the craziness in our society. Some will make you want to do better like Grab the Good:
I think of the trials and smiles of lifeThe turn styles we enter, the profiles we are short, some go for can be fragile and sad or happy and can turn as we learn, it can burn as we ups, the downs, laughter or it’s luck, sometimes we’re ‘s a mystery to find, it grinds at our mindIt complicates, it captivates, It aggravates, it laugh, we cry. we quit, we will crash, some will will live, some will we all received the gift of birthTo create our worth on this green is the second poetry book I have written. The first, Partly Sunny with a Chance of Laughter, Poems that will make you think, wonder, question and smile was written in the same manner as my second. Other published books include: Where Does the Trombone Go, The Sex Ed Questions You Won’t Believe Kids Ask and Answered by their teachers and My Students Taught Me How to Teach.
